Your wedding begins as friends and family make their way to Deer Isle for an entire weekend of celebration. Whether you choose to hold your ceremony on the beach on our 90' deck overlooking the ocean, or at one of the many churches nearby, dinner and dancing await you at the main lodge.

Thank you for your interest in the Goose Cove Resort for a special event. Receptions and special events are generally limited to 100 guests or less. Since we do not have a separate banquet facility to hold special events, we must close the Lodge to the public and other guests for that period of time in which you will be occupying the premises. The fee for the use of the Lodge for your event is $1,500.00

We provide an exquisite hot and cold buffet style meal that includes versatility, quality and abundance which is guaranteed to please everyone’s pallet. Food cost per person for this special event is $55.00. Charges for alcoholic beverages are in addition to the food cost and vary from one reception to the next. An 18% service charge will apply to all food and beverage charges and covers eight hours of service by our staff. There is an additional $150.00 per hour charge for service staff to remain beyond the stated time period.

Chef, Suzen D. Carter, is well known for her beautiful design and exquisite tasting wedding cakes. Cake consultations are available and price will vary from cake to cake.
The Cockatoo Portuguese Restaurant has a full liquor license therefore guests may not bring their own alcoholic beverages into the premises or onto the property. Guest may bring alcoholic beverages to their room or cabin and consume them there should they be residing in the Resort.

Payment Terms: Upon acceptance, the lodge fee of $1500.00 and one half of the total even commitment are due. All remaining balances are due and payable before the completion of the event.
